Adjust KDC White Balance

Adjust for lighting conditions.

1. Display the picture in the Edit KDC (RAW) Picture window, then click the White Balance icon.

The original picture is on the left side. The right side shows the adjustment as it is applied. To see the entire picture, drag the centerline to the left.

2. Select one of the following options.

Depending on your camera model, your camera may offer additional white balance adjustments.

§  Auto uses the Auto White balance calculated by the camera.

§  Daylight optimizes pictures taken in the daylight.

§  Tungsten optimizes pictures taken under incandescent lighting or candlelight.

§  Fluorescent optimizes pictures taken under fluorescent lighting.

§  Manual lets you position the Eyedropper icon over an area that you know should be a balanced neutral color (for example, an area that should be white or gray). To change the balance, click the mouse button.

3. Click Accept.

4. Optionally undo/redo your last edits, revert to the last saved version, or save your picture.

5. Click Close.
