File menu

The File menu contains the following options:

Job Setup - displays the Job Setup dialog box, which allows you to set up all the parameters for a job setup. Keyboard shortcut: J.

Page Setup - displays the Page Setup dialog box, which allows you to select a predefined page setup or create your own custom page setup for your job setup. The software comes with several predefined page setups. The list of predefined page setups varies depending on the scanner being used. Keyboard shortcut: F5.

Workstation Setup - displays the Workstation Setup dialog box, which allows you to select the scanner attached to your computer for scanning documents into the software. If licensed, you may also select Auto Import to automatically import images into the software.

Intelligent Job Select* - displays the  Intelligent Job Select, which allows you to set up a way for Job Setup or Page Setup to switch automatically during batch scanning, using patch pages. This option is available only with scanners that have Intelligent Job Select capability.  

Import Job Setup - displays the Import dialog box, which allows you to import a job setup.  For more information, click here.

Export Job Setup - displays the Export dialog box, which allows you to export the job setup to a file.  For more information, click here.

User Setup* -displays theUser Setup dialog box, which allows the administrator toset up and manage users of the software.  For more information, click here.

Change Password* - displays the Change Password dialog box, which allows you to change your password.

Language -allows you to select the language in which the user interface is displayed.

Measurement System - allows you to select US or Metric units.

Print -displays the Print Setting dialog box for the selected printer, which allows you to print scanned documents.  Keyboard shortcut: Ctl + P.

Save As PDF -displays the Save as PDF dialog box, whichallows you to save scanned images to a searchable or unsearchable PDF format.

Logout*- logs out the current user.

Minimize to System Tray - minimizes the software.

Exit - closes the software. Keyboard shortcut: Alt + F4.

* This option is not available with Capture Pro Limited Edition.
