Auto-Delete tab - allows you to automatically delete a scanned imageThe scanner converts sides to images. Every image belongs to a document with a unique document number. The software gives every image a sequential number inside its document. One document can contain up to 999999999 images. The software distinguishes between an image coming from the front or rear side of a page. This allows the software to perform side-specific processing (e.g., deletion of blank/rear sides) where appropriate. The software also distinguishes between color, grayscale, and black and white images and can perform color/grayscale versus black and white specific processing. Example: Document 250 contains two double-sided pages and produces an electronic document number 250, which contains four images (1-4). if it exceeds certain parameters.
Split tab* - allows you to automatically split a scanned image if it exceeds a certain width. For more information on splitting images, click here.
Merge tab* - allows you to merge the front and back images of a scanned page into a single image. For more information on merging images, click here.
Intelligent QC tab - allows you to enable and configure image processing features that are used during image capture and identify images that may not be rendered to the quality level that you expect. You can review and modify these images before outputting the batch. For example, when Intelligent QC is enabled to perform binarization, images with excessive noise due to low content/background contrast, will be identified. The identifier is the image flag. When reviewing flagged images using the Intelligent QC tool, you can make the corrections that you feel improves the image quality.
