Rotating an image
You can automatically rotate your images as they are being scanned or manually rotate them after they are scanned.
To automatically rotate images while they are being scanned:

Select File>Page Setup. The Page Setup dialog box will be displayed.

On the Image tab, select a image rotation setting from the Software Rotation drop-down list. As you enter a different rotation, the icon will show how the image would look if an option were selected.

Click OK to save your setting and close the Page Setup dialog box.

Scan the images. The rotated images will be displayed in the Image Viewer.
To manually rotate images in an existing batchA collection of documents or images that are uniquely indexed. A job setup can contain several batches, each up to 999999999 documents. Processing a batch means converting the batch to a specific output format (e.g., single-page TIFF, PDF, LaserFiche) and sending it to a batch destination folder/subdirectory. Batches can be processed one by one or together.:

Select individual (or groups of) images, pages, or documents in the Batch Explorer list or in the Image Viewer.

Select Tools>Rotate> 90, 180, or 270. The rotated images will be displayed in the Image Viewer.
