Batch settings setup
The Batch settings section of the Capture tab on the Job Setup dialog box allows you to change the settings in a batch and set limits on the number of batch documents or document pages.
UnderBatch settings,make the following selections:
Batch name - select a batch name from the drop-down list. The standard batch name is "BatchXXX". If you want to change your batch name to "Invoices" and the date, you would click Setup to open the Standard Settings dialog box. From this dialog box, you can make these settings.
If you want to have a batch name that contains the Batch Counter and you need to have the Batch Counter to reset to a preset value each day, you would select Daily Counter Reset and click Setup to open the Daily Counter Reset Setup dialog box.
The actual batch number is determined at the time the batch is created. You will not be able to enter a value if Enable Job Level batch numbers is unchecked. See Workstation Setup dialog box.
Next batch number - enter the desired next batch number. The actual batch number is determined at the time the batch is created. You will not be able to enter a value if Enable Job Level batch numbering is unchecked on the Workstation Setup dialog box.
Under Limits - Documents per batch,make the following selections:

Numbers:using the drop-down lists, enter the minimum and maximum number of documents that you want to allow in a batch.

Warn: enter a document number to serve as a warning to you that the batch is approaching its maximum number of documents.
Under Limits - Pages per document, make the following settings:

Numbers:using the two number drop-down lists, enter the minimum and maximum number of pages that you want to allow in a document.

Warn:enter a page number to serve as a warning to you that the document is approaching its maximum number of pages.

Reset document ID: check this box to zero-out the document counter.
OK - closes the dialog box. All your settings are saved.
