Overview of Capture tab
The Capture tab of the Job Dialog Setup box allows you to create the following settings:
General settings - allows you to define the way images will be stored after scanning.
Batch
settings - allows you to select the batchA collection of documents or images that are uniquely indexed. A job setup can contain several batches, each up to 999999999 documents. Processing a batch means converting the batch to a specific output format (e.g., single-page TIFF, PDF, LaserFiche) and sending it to a batch destination folder/subdirectory. Batches can be processed one by one or together.

Bar Code, OCR* & Mark Detection settings* - allows you to create and modify bar code, OCR and mark detection zones and set them up for use.
Separation settings - allows you to configure your job setup to accept separators between batches and documents.
Scanner settings - allows you to create settings for image addressing and printing on scanners with those capabilities.
Sort settings - allows you to define the how automatic or manual page or document sorting will happen during scanning.
OK - saves your settings and closes the dialog box.
You can create bar code zones, OCR and mark detection zones using either

Bar Code, OCR and Mark Detection settings, or
-
the individual By Bar Code Zone or By OCR Zone settings under Separation settings. Mark detection cannot be set up under the Separation settings.
There is no difference.
* This option is not available with Capture Pro Limited Edition.
