About OCR zones

The software allows you to separate pages and documents on your scanner with pages containing Optical Character Recognition (OCRClosed(Optical Character Recognition) - the process of recognizing printed characters by a software application.) zones. These OCR zones also allow you to create attachments to your documents.  

Before you can use OCR text as separators, you must:

  1. Scan an image containing the OCR text into the software.  For more information, click here.

  2. Draw and select the OCR zones.  For more information, click here.

  3. Set up your job for OCR zone separation.  For more information, click here.
